Food & Beverages

A food is a complex feed material composed from numerous molecular building blocks, such as proteins, amino acids, organic acids, fats and oils, sugars, minerals, phenolic compounds to mention a few. These building blocks make up the complex material, which has a specific flavour, taste, texture, colour, nutritional function all of which are required to create a food product.

Membrane filtration is widely used for concentration, fractionation, and sterilisation of foods and beverages, and MMS are working in a great number of these applications. Some are listed below, others are restricted due to confidentiality agreements.
